Black History Month:
Diane Abbott comes to Bath October 24th
An upcoming event with Diane Abbott (in conversation with British Nigerian writer Jendella Benson) exploring her extraordinary life and political career; from challenging expectations as a bright and restless child of the Windrush generation to making history as the first elected Black female MP in the UK.
A Woman Like Me is her brand new memoir and this visit will be the only one she will make across the SouthWest. We'd love to have as many young people in the audience as possible.
It would be amazing if you could share the event details across any socials or newsletters (I've attached an asset to use). Individual tickets cost £10 each and can be purchased via www.batharts.co.uk
I also have the opportunity to offer up to 25 tickets to bring a group at a concession price of £5 each. Please reply to this email if you'd like to discuss a group reservation.
The event is running from 7-8pm at St Swithins Church and there will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the talk.
