Translation Service

For many of the BEMSCA members, English is not their first language.

Hand Writing

Our BEMSCA translation service serves members to help them translate: important documents, receive messages or to be of assistance in writing them, and with other methods of communication also. This helps to cross the language barrier and to remove further obstacles to wider participation for the elderly in society.

Members may face language barriers and BEMSCA project workers are able to be involved in all cases, as interpreters and translators and BEMSCA can also support with correspondence if required. 

Languages spoken and translated at BEMSCA: 

  • Hindi (spoken, read and written)

  • Punjabi (spoken)

  • Urdu (spoken)

  • Gujrati (spoken)

  • Cantonese (spoken, read and written)

  • Mandarin (spoken, read and written)
